These buses remind me of when I was a kid. Whenever my mom didn't have a car, we often rode them to get from point A to point B. I know for a fact I rode on a bus that was produced before 1999. 😄

These 95 flxible buses almost sound like the 02 nabi buses. I can't imagine riding the bus home just as it's starting to snow outside. 😥😅

They should've kept the New Flyer D60lf buses, have them renovated and use them for stadium routes, for people that live too far from the Honda Center and Angel Stadium and have them painted in the Ducks and Angels' colors

Sadly all of these have been retired and Scrapped. Except for 0613 0620 0621 0666 0699 0701 0709 0711

They had the Hawker Siddeley 0600s at the time.

George Dixion, Joe Calabrese and RTA board of trustees screw up RTA starting 2009-2010, it's been downhill every since, half the fleet and ridership lost, 69 million riders a year to 36 million presently.

If anybody remember the 69 Franklin Route, RTA ran a flyer on Franklin Ave. during the morning and afternoon rush hour.

In Cuba we had buses exactly like this one with a small window before and after the back door. They arrived in Cuba at the end of the 1950's and were already in use in the USA. We also had a small version! They had automatic transmission and air suspension and seemed like they were floating above the streets! Those with broken air suspension felt like this one shown in the video! Staten Island was like paradise for Orion buses, as they are pretty much everywhere on the borough and those buses enjoy peace, but there are some MCIs on the borough too. Nowadays there are Orion VII EPA10s on the island, but pretty much they're the only Orions now that the fact Nova Bus LFS' dominate the borough and you see more Prevosts than MCIs.
